Patient Endurance

“So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.” Hebrews 10:35-36 NLT

The message from God through our Pastor @AtBoshoff @CRCPretoria past Sunday (19 February 2017) morning.

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22 KJV

In between all of these, there are time lapses, some longer and some shorter, and we often end up asking ourselves but why does everything take so long? We so often lose endurance, forgetting the great reward it brings, slowly losing our trust in the Lord, ending with a feeling of abandonment.

Job is an excellent example of the test of endurance and faith. Job who lost everything. Job pleaded to God to rather end his life than letting him continue to suffer, but Job was God’s most trusted servant and so was tested and received Double for his Trouble in the end.

Just like Job who through all of this never lost Faith, who continued to Believe in the promise of God, who through fellowship and prayer continued to Hope, so should we not loose Faith, Belief, and Hope because the promise of God will not cease.

Do not lose sight of the reward #Explosion2017, and do not throw away your confident trust in the Lord. Remember the reward, build endurance throw prayer, no pain is too big for the Lord and our praise and worship is His delight, for our Father knows our pains and joys. Continue to do God’s will and we shall receive all that he has promised. Amen
